Bio

Resa Fuller is a lighting designer and stage manager currently based in Central Illinois. Previously she has been employed at the Doudna Fine Arts Center and worked with various theater companies in the Madison, WI, area. She served on the Board of Directors for Music Theatre of Madison, a company dedicated to the production of new and rarely produced musicals, from 2023-2025. She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Performance and Theater from Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design and Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her passion in theatre comes from doing "the weird stuff", reimagining old stories in fresh ways, and in using theatre as a tool to drive community. Resa also enjoys writing, duck watching by the lake, and cooking by "measuring with your heart".

 

Lighting Design credits include productions with Illinois Theatre, Dance at Illinois, Music Theatre of Madison, The Station Theatre, Madison Savoyards, StageQ Inc., and Eastern Illinois Universiy Theatre.

Stage management credits include productions with Madison Ballet, Music Theatre of Madison, Madison College, and Eastern Illinois University Theatre.
